Eco Nexus® at Kansas University

The University of Kansas is a major public research university as well as the largest teaching institution in Kansas. The university is home to over 28,000 students spread across 5 large campuses and is united in its mission to "educate leaders, build healthy communities, and make discoveries that change the world."

The university were looking for containers that they could place across the campus to encourage faculty members and students to recycle. Our popular Eco Nexus® 23G's were a great fit for their requirements and were supplied with connectors to allow the bins to join together to create recycling stations.

As well as the standard paper and mixed recyclables waste streams, we were also able to cater for their non-standard waste stream by supplying customized decals with "cardboard" and "waste to landfill" messages.
