It was important that the design of the product gained approval from the City of Virginia Beach, due to its relevance and appeal as a tourist destination. In addition, as the City of Virginia Beach is not responsible for emptying the units, they needed to ensure that they could be easily emptied by the staff of the partnered hotels and restaurants on their behalf. Features such as the universal key system and removable door ensure emptying the units is easy for all.
